Plans and oversees the kickoff to JES's 75th Anniversary celebrations!

Coordinates the 75th Anniversary PTA and Staff alumni cocktail hour.

Plans the 75th Anniversary Cook Out / Give Back event for JES.

MEREDITH MELODY-HUBBELL, chair

Coordinates with local businesses to host spirit nights. The PTA typically receives a percentage of sales from each event.

MARY GARRETT, chair

Coordinates monthly teacher/staff treats and gifts. Takes the woot woot wagon through the halls to deliver goodies and good cheer!

ELLY BATES, chair

Provides food and beverage for the monthly  staff meetings on the first Monday of each month.

ASHLEY GALLEGLY & KATIE DIMITROVA,

Coordinates all 5th grade activities! Includes managing the birthday sign, coordinating field trips, and planning graduation.

EMILIE SNYDER & LAIR HUGHEN,

Coordinates annual holiday event and Santa visit,  held in the Jefferson cafeteria in early December.

LAUREN SATTERFIELD & MANDI HOUK,

Coordinates the annual marathon team. Students train after school twice a week before participating in the Little Rock Kid's Final Mile. 

COURTNEY NEWELL & AMY HOUGH,

Committee coordinates annual spring son plus one event. Duties include planning, ticket sales, set up and tear down.

JORDAN ROEHRENBECK & RACHEL FERRARO, co-chairs

Coordinates annual spring father daughter dance, held at Jefferson. Duties include planning, ticket sales, set up and tear down.

RACHEL ARNOLD, chair

Coordinates the annual auction party; an adults- only fundraiser that takes place every April and is a significant source of income for the PTA.

LAURA ALLMOND, chair

Designs, orders and distributes the yearbook for the school year. Also coordinates and designs yearbook ads.

HOLLY REDING, chair

Designs yearbook ads for Jefferson students. Duties include selling ads, collecting info for ads and finalizing designs for the yearbook.

CARA HAZELWOOD & WHITNEY SMITH,

Plans gifts, activities and meals to spoil our teachers during the annual Teacher Appreciation week in May.

MANDI HOUK & JOHN MALLORY,

Organizes field days activities, plans food and beverages for teachers, and coordinates parent volunteers for field day stations.

BETH MCALPINE, chair

Coordinates the pre-ordered school supply boxes.  Responsibilities include collecting orders and distributing supplies.

LAURA LARUE, chair

Collects and records the ViPS (Volunteers in public schools) hours and reports them to LRSD monthly.

MICHAEL JERKINS, chair

Greet and hold door for kids at the beginning of the day. Help with events. Welcome students on the first day of school.

AMY HOUGH, chair

Orders products and coordinates sales + distribution.

ANN POND, chair

Responsible for sending information and reminders to the homeroom parents who then share that information with parents in their individual classrooms.

Mandy Quick, chair

Organizes special lunch days for students and visiting family members. Leads the volunteer sign-up.

Works on keeping Jefferson grounds clean and beautiful as well as a welcoming environment for students and their families.

Plans and leads the yearly STEAM night at JES, identifying guests, coordinating activities, and recruiting volunteers.

Works with the art teacher to coordinate annual art gifts in which proceeds benefit JES.
