PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Register is back at Jefferson, the place she began her career. A teacher at Jefferson from 1978 to 1996, she returned to serve as principal in 2017. She has a BSE from the University of Arkansas, and is a graduate of UCA and UALR (MSE).
 

Mrs. Register enjoys going to the lake, keeping her grandkids, and watching their sports. Her birthday is September 27. Her favorite restaurants are Cheers, Faded Rose or mexican . She loves coffee (blondie hot or chiller from 7 Brew) or Sonic (unsweet tea or Coke). Her favorite flowers are gardenias and hydrangeas.
 

Mrs. Register is married to Ellis "Scooter" Register, and has two daughters, Randi Smith (Brian and child Hilton) and Toni Tucker (Sen. Clarke Tucker).  She has three grandchildren, Ellis Tucker, Mari Francis Tucker, and Hilton Smith. 

Mrs. Register loves the community feel of Jefferson- and the fact that many of her past Kindergarten students are now back at Jefferson at parents!

SECRETARY

Mrs. Wadkins joined the Jefferson team in 2012.  She is a model of efficiency and keeps the school running smoothly.  Mrs. Wadkins is the first person many people meet at Jefferson as she handles enrollment paperwork, attendance and checking students in and out among her many daily tasks.  We all appreciate Mrs. Wadkins. Her favorite thing about Jefferson is  "the students- of course!" 

Her birthday is September 11th and she loves US Pizza, Layla's and Taziki's.  She loves a Dr. Pepper Zero or 7 Brew Sugar Free. Recommended gift cards are Target, Ulta and 7 Brew. Mrs. Wadkins loves to read!

Mrs. Wadkins is married to Fran and has three grown children. She is expecting her first grandchild this fall.
