PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Register is back at Jefferson, the place she began her career. A teacher at Jefferson from 1978 to 1996, she returned to serve as principal in 2017. She has a BSE from the University of Arkansas, and is a graduate of UCA and UALR (MSE).
 

Mrs. Register enjoys going to the lake, keeping her grandkids, and watching their sports. Her birthday is September 27. Her favorite restaurants are Cheers, Faded Rose or mexican . She loves coffee (blondie hot or chiller from 7 Brew) or Sonic (unsweet tea or Coke). Her favorite flowers are gardenias and hydrangeas.
 

Mrs. Register is married to Ellis "Scooter" Register, and has two daughters, Randi Smith (Brian and child Hilton) and Toni Tucker (Sen. Clarke Tucker).  She has three grandchildren, Ellis Tucker, Mari Francis Tucker, and Hilton Smith. 

Mrs. Register loves the community feel of Jefferson- and the fact that many of her past Kindergarten students are now back at Jefferson at parents!

SECRETARY

  Ms. Beranek has a B.A. from Harding University. She is certified in Early Childhood Education as well as Pre-K to 4th. She holds the following certifications: M.S. Social Studies 5th-8th, Elementary K-6th, English as a Second Language Pre-K to 12. She came to Jefferson in 2010 and previously taught 4th grade.

Her birthday is December 11th, and likes Chipotle, Newks, Chik-Fil-A, Tropical Smoothie and Panera.  For sweet treats, she likes raspberry lemonade and Snickers. Her recommended gift cards are to Amazon, Target, Office Depot, Staples, Dillard's and Ann Taylor Loft.

Ms. Beranek loves to read and to spend time with her husband and two sons.
